MEET BROOKE

Hi, I’m Brooke.

I’m a first-time mom, a California girl at heart, and the founder of Gather.

I grew up in Southern California, but for the past six years, my family and I have spent our summers in Northern Michigan—a place that has become incredibly special to us and shaped so much of how I think about community, connection, and the importance of having a place that feels like home.

Four months ago, my family and I made the move to Grand Rapids with our daughter and our two dogs—and we’re officially calling Michigan home.

Becoming a mom has made me realize just how much we need one another. Motherhood can be beautiful and deeply meaningful, but it can also feel isolating, overwhelming, and surprisingly lonely.

Gather was created from that feeling. I wanted to create the kind of community I was looking for myself—a place where moms can come as they are, learn from trusted experts, have honest conversations, move their bodies, meet other women, and slowly build the village we all need.
